About

About WEDC Studio

What we believe

Technology is worth what it helps people get done

WEDC Studio explores the web, edge computing, distributed systems and AI We care about clear structure, reliable operation, and people staying in control of their data and actions We want people, data and AI to work together more easily: documents that are understood precisely, everyday information that is easy to organise, and tools that fit naturally into life and creative work

Goals

A family of connected tools you can keep using

  • AtDoc: a document language with clear semantics

A document language with clear semantics, for people to write, AI to process, and many ways to present

  • AtDo: understand your own finances

Bookkeeping, income and assets that are easy to understand, so you stay on top of your own finances

  • Devices, edge and cloud working together

Exploring how devices, the edge and the cloud share the work, with sensible trade-offs between speed, cost, privacy and experience

  • Docs and records in the open

Publishing docs, tests and dev logs in the open, so every improvement has evidence behind it and more people can join in
